Happy New Year!

Chocolate Passion

I have to confess to one of my biggest passions - CHOCOLATE. I love especially luxury truffles and pralines made from high quatity chocolate, rich double cream and butter. In our town there is no good chocolatier (there is no good chocolate shop even) so I started to make my first attempts to make my own chocolates several years ago. I have bought some very good books for chocolate-makers. I have even attended a confectionary course.
Now I have my own "secret" recipes that I use several times a year to make the best chocolates for me and my family. And Christmas is the right time for chocolate, don´t you think so?
Here are this year pieces.

Musím sa priznať k jednej z mojich najväčších vášní - je ňou čokoláda! Milujem hlavne luxusné pralinky z kvalitnej čokolády, pravej smotany a masla. V našom okolí však nič podobné neexistuje a tak som pred pár rokmi začala robiť svoje prvé pokusy s výrobou čokoládových bonbónov. Pokúpila som si pár vynikajúcich kníh pre čokoládovníkov a dokonca som si spravila aj cukrársky kurz. Dnes už mám nejaké tie čokoládové skúsenosti a pár svojich "tajných" receptov a niekoľkokrát do roka robím moje obľúbené pralinky. Vianoce sú pravý čas na čokoládu, nemyslíte?

In the evening I´ve finished this little watercolor painting. I have been enjoying painting it so much! I had a dilemma though - if she should have her dress patterned or not. But finally I decided to embelish her just with a tiny lace on the brim of her dress...

Well, this is my first contribution to the Illustration Friday´s topic... and at the same time this is my first watercolor painting with my very new WN Cotman Colors. I´m absolutely excited with them...

New Whimsical Doll

I´ve recently raked in my vast cloth stockpiling in a hunt to find the perfect cloth pieces for my new cloth doll. I had an exact idea how I want she to look like: sweet, humourous and little bit romantic. So with the big help of my little daughter ♥ Kajka ♥ we decided on the right colors. =)

And here she is - my new sweet whimsical doll.
